What is a Serum?
A serum is a concentrated skincare product made for the face. It usually contains powerful ingredients like hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E. Unlike creams or moisturizers, serums are lightweight, so they absorb quickly and reach deeper layers of the skin.
There are two main types of serums:
• Water-based serums – light and fresh, perfect for oily or sensitive skin.
• Oil-based serums – richer and nourishing, best for dry or mature skin.
Personally, I prefer water-based serums with Vitamin C and E since my skin is sensitive to oils and I easily get pimples.

Yes. Serums work best when used every day. Apply it after cleansing and before moisturizing so your skin can absorb the nutrients fully. With consistency, it helps maintain a natural glow.
4. How to Choose a Good Quality Serum
The right serum depends on your skin type:
• Sensitive or oily skin → A water-based serum is lighter and less likely to clog pores.
• Dry or mature skin → Oil-based serums can give deeper nourishment.
Always check the ingredient list and choose dermatologist-tested products. Avoid harsh chemicals or fragrances if your skin is sensitive.
